How we work
Every look on this site is painted before it's written. We start with the finished face or set of nails, then write down the order we actually did it in, including the mistakes that taught us something. If a step only works with a specific expensive product, we say so and offer an alternative.
What we won't do
We don't take sponsorship, paid placements or free products in exchange for coverage, and we don't use affiliate links. We aren't affiliated with any cosmetics brand. We're also not dermatologists or doctors: if you react to a product, stop using it and get proper medical advice.
Who it's for
Adventurous wearers. People who want stars on their cheekbones on a Tuesday, goth liner at their office job, or ten different planets on ten nails. Beginners are welcome; every look has a simpler version.
